Please Pray for:
  • Pray for unity and wisdom over our church's and our country's leadership that we would desire to honor God and bring Him glory!
  • Gina Turner -- Gina had surgery on November 3 to do a fusion of C5-C7 in her neck.   She is now home from the hospital and there will be 6 weeks of recovery in a neck brace.  They will be able to do the lower lumbar injections after surgery.  Please pray that all continues to go well and that relief is provided so she can return to her church family.
  • Harla Adams -- Harla is still recovering from her fall.  Please lift her up in your prayers as she heals. 
  • Murray Shook -- Murray is currently in Afib. He will be having surgery on November 10 to correct it. Please pray that his heartbeat will return to normal.
  • Jan Smith -- Jan fell and broke her jaw.  She is now waiting on an appointment with the doctor.  Please be in prayer for her recovery and for Gary as he cares for her. 
  • Barbara Stevenson --  Barbara will be having back surgery on December 1st.  Please begin praying for her and her medical team.  
  • Wanda Jackson -- Wanda's brother passed away unexpectedly.  Please keep their family covered in prayer.
  • Darlene Munson -- Ricky Johnson's aunt has had ongoing health issues that are now resulting in her being put on hospice. Please pray for the family as well as Darlene during this time.
  • Yolanda Jones -- Please continue to pray for Yolanda's stepfather, Jimmie.  Hopefully, he will be home sometime today (Friday), but it will be on hospice care.  Please pray that a nurse will be able to come at least 3 times a week or 1 day of care from a nurse, that an aid can come 5 days a week and for guidance and peace through this time of need. Yolanda and her mother are thankful for your prayers and grateful how God is providing for their needs.  
  • Josh and Samantha Pinson and family -- Josh is a nurse and works with Annette Shook at Huguley Hospital.  The family was involved in a head on collision last Saturday.  The children are fine, but both Josh and Samantha are in serious condition and have already gone through 3 surgeries each.  Please lift this family up in prayers as the parents are still in critical condition and face multiple health issues. 
  •  Krystin and Matt Colgrove -- Randy and Darla Jurries Daughter and Son-in-law have been in Taiwan to pick up their new daughter (6 years old) since October 24th. On November 7th, they return to Texas as a family of 3!  Continue to pray for this family and for their daughter as she adjusts to a new life! 
  • Nancy Sevier --  Please pray for healing as Nancy is recovering from a knee replacement.   
  • Oscar Andrews --  Oscar will be having surgery on his bladder has been postponed.  Please pray as they reschedule the date, also lift up Diane as she cares for him.
  • Peggy Wright --   Peggy fell and is now home recovering from a broken nose and bruises. She is thankful for and appreciates all of your prayers as she heals.  
  • Degen Family -- On September 19, 2025, Jim Degen's address simply became HEAVEN! A memorial gathering in his honor will be held on Veterans' Day, November 11, at 11 am in the Worship Center. Continue to pray for Janice and her family. View his obituary here.
  • Ralph Sandlin -- Ralph had his thyroid removed.   He is doing well since his stroke, but just has low energy levels.  Please continue to pray for his healing.  Pray also for Janice as she cares for him.
  • Evelyn Wilkens -- Evelyn had neck surgery to prevent further spinal cord damage.   Prayers are asked for her healing, and prayers also for Chris and David as they care for her. 
  • Coy Watson -- Coy suffered a right knee injury during a BHS football game.  He had surgery on September 24th, which went well.  Praises to God as the doctor's say he is ahead of schedule on his recovery and rehab on his knee!  He no longer needs crutches to walk and is now able to drive! 
  • Barry Meadows -- Barry joined his Lord and Savior in heaven on September 15, 2025.  The family is thankful for your prayers, love and support during this time. 
  • Brent Leisure -- Harla Adams' brother, Brent, had a Transesophageal Echocardiogram and Cardioversion.  This was to check on his aortic valve and shock his heart back into rhythm due to his a-fib.  Praise- he is back in rhythm!  They also found the bicuspid aortic valve confirmed with a small leak, regurgitation in a couple of areas, and mitral and tricuspid valves. After consulting with the cardiovascular surgeon, Brent is scheduled for surgery on December 17th.  Please lift up Brent the surgeon and medical staff as they prepare for the procedures that are necessary as they are not without risk. 
  • Charlotte and Kelly Terrell's niece, Melissa Terrell, has colon cancer and recently had surgery.  Please pray for her healing.  
  • Lori and Brian Jones family -- Please keep Lori and her family in your prayers as they continue to grieve the loss of her mother, Darlene.  Lori and her family will be here for several months doing their statewide work before returning to their mission work in PNG. 
  • Ada and Stella Adams' mom, Shannon -- Harla is asking for continued prayers for Shannon, who has been fighting ocular melanoma for over 2 years.  She had a surgical procedure on her liver in California on Wednesday to remove some of the 7 tumors.  They were able to remove 4!  Please pray for Shannon and her medical team, as well as for the girls, during this process. 
  • Paul Stone --  Please pray for his continued healing and for Shirley as she cares for him.
  • Paul Newton -- Paul is still experiencing pain, but doctors do not believe it is being caused by the gallstones.  As there will be further medical tests, please pray for the doctors as they search for causes and determine a plan of action for Paul's healing and also for Christy as she cares for him. 
  • Erwin and Sandra Wilson -- Erwin and Sandra are both home and recovering. Erwin is struggling in his recovery.  Please continue to pray for their complete healing. 
  • Nita Wallace -- Nita is doing very well. Please continue to pray for a successful transition to new meds to stop future clots and for her continued strength.
  • Charlotte Terrell -- Charlotte asks for your prayers regarding her health as she still has several appointments and will be waiting on test results.   
  • Samantha C. -- Paula Manning asks that you pray for Samantha's son, Issac. Even though Issac is home, please pray for his continued recovery.
  • Abby Tucker -- Abbie is doing much better after her surgery! Continue to pray that the surgery will continue to help with her symptoms from her Barrett's esophagus diagnosis.
  • Tina Farquhar --  Praises for God's continued healing in Tina!  She will continue to be monitored as she is in partial remission from her cancer.  The cancer is still present, but not growing.  Tina will continue to get scans every 2 months.  She still asks for our prayers so that the tumors do not grow again, and loves you all for them!
  • Lynnae Sullins -- Harla Adams' sister, Lynnae, is back home and working part-time after being in the hospital with a tachycardia event.  She is now walking with a walker. However, Lynnae is still experiencing pain from head trauma.  This will be a lengthy recovery process, so please keep her, Harla, and the rest of the family in your prayers.
  • Dalton Family -- Bruce and Kathy Dalton's son, Will, is stationed in the Arab Emirates, near Qatar, with his family.  Please keep them in your prayers, asking God to keep them safe. 
  • Irma Manning -- She has a splenic aneurysm, which is very small and will be monitored yearly unless something changes.
  • Ricky Johnson -- Ricky is dealing with health issues.  Please pray for answers and full health!
  • Ubi Jenkins -- Ubi and her sisters need your prayers.  Mercy's brain tumor has returned, so she is staying with Ubi.  The tumor is inoperable. Her other two sisters in Nigeria are also sick.  One has malaria, and the other has had malaria, but it has progressed into another disease.  
  • David and Melinda Rubenkoenig -- David's nephew, Steve Rubenkoenig, has cancer of the blood, which is actively being treated.   Your continued prayers are much appreciated!  
  • Wes Nickodam -- Pray as Wes has chemo treatments every 2 weeks.
  • Angela Turner and family -- Angela is Shawn and Gina Turner's sister-in-law and is battling stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to her bones and brain.  Her oncologist recently said her labs look remarkable, and she is healing a little every day.  She is thankful for more time and energy to be with her family.  Please pray for health and wisdom for her, Matt, and their two kids, Celeste and Josiah, as they walk this difficult journey together. 
  • T.J. Harris -- T.J. is a family friend of Brady Lock.  He is 46, married, and has a family.  T.J. has recently been diagnosed with ALS.  Please pray for his care and his family as they journey together through this illness.
  • Tucker Family -- Please pray for the family as they care for Sandy's mother, Mrs. Margie. 
  • Missions -- Please pray for all our mission activities and our missionary families this weekend and that God's word and purpose will be revealed to us all.  Sean Willeford from the TCU Baptist Student Ministry spoke to us about the ministry on the TCU campus.  Please pray for Sean and Janelle that God will give them the wisdom, strength, encouragement, and support in incredible ways to point college students to Jesus. www.prime-ministries.org, sean@prime-ministries.org, janelle@prime-ministries.org.
